It’s peony season, my friends! Aren’t they lovely? I don’t have much to say about them, aside from the fact that they make me quite happy. Oh, and by the by, there will be more photos. As The Carpenters sang, “We’ve only just begun…”

I love peonies but my husband says he doesn’t want to plant them because they attract ants and we already have an ant problem. Do you find that to be the case?

Beautiful! I have been looking every day, but mine haven’t bloomed yet. They are in too much shade to bloom this early.
OK, since the rain makes it hard to go to the garden to enjoy them.

The peonies here are just beginning to bud, so it won’t be long before we are gazing on their beauty. Yours are gorgeous!! I have hundreds of Lily of the Valley that beg to be made into sweet little bouquets ,and they smell quite heavenly! Spring is wonderful!!!!!
